The threaded pipe is divided into external threaded pipe and internal threaded pipe, and the internal threaded pipe is also called dry steam pipe, internal ribbed pipe or internal fin pipe. It is mainly used on dry evaporators in central air conditioning units.

Internally threaded tubes, also known as dry steam tubes, internally ribbed tubes, or internally finned tubes. On central air conditioning units, it is mainly used on dry-type internally threaded tube evaporators. During heat exchange, the refrigerant outside the tube is cooled by the refrigerant that evaporates and expands inside the tube; It is also used on household and commercial air conditioning heat exchangers or for high heat pipes. The internal surface area per unit length of internally threaded pipes is 1.5-2 times that of ordinary smooth copper pipes, and its heat transfer coefficient is 1.5-2.4 times that of smooth copper pipes of the same specification. However, by only increasing the carrier flow resistance by 3-5%, it can save energy by 20-35%, and reduce the overall weight of the refrigeration air conditioner by 10-25%
